at street intersections (commonly known as curb returns) the return must be constructed in the form of a smooth circular curve, the radius of said curve being determined as follows* On streets where the distance from curb face to property line ie fourteen (14) feet the radius shall be six (6) feet, dere the distance from the curb face to property line is twelve (12) feet the radius shall be five (5) feet. When the distance from curb face to property line is ten (10) feet or less the radius shall be four (4) feet. The returns for alleys shall be of two (2) foot radius° 'AIheraver streets of different widths intersect the radius of thu returns shall be determined by the width of the narrower street. Section 4. Yo person, firm or corporation shall construct any siaewalxs or curbs in the City of Colton without first having filed with the City Clerk a bond in the sum of five hundred (4500.00) dollarsr duly approved by the Board of Trustees. No person, firm or corporation shall construct o. cause to be constructed any sidevialk or curb in the City of Colton_ without first having applied for and obtained a permit to do so from the Superin- tendent of Streets of the City of Colton* Said application shall be made upon blanks for that purpose furnished by said Superintendent of Streets, Said blanks shall show in detail the exact location, extent, and character of work to be done*
