As used in this section and elsewhere in <br />said Code the term "Electrical Safety Engineer" shall be amended to <br />read Building Inspection Director or his designated agent. <br />20.6 In lieu of an individual permit for each installation or <br />alteration, a monthly permit shall, upon application therefor, be issued <br />to any person, firm or corporation holding an annual maintenance elec- <br />trician's permit. <br />20.7 Within not more than fifteen (15) days following the end of <br />each calendar month, the person, firm or corporation to which a monthly <br />permit is issued shall transmit to the Building Inspection Director a report <br />of all electrical work which has been done under the permit during the <br />preceding month, and shall pay the fees prescribed therefor as set forth <br />in Article III. <br />20.10 No electrical work for which a permit is required shall be <br />commenced in any building or premises until a permit to do such work shall <br />have been first obtained. Failure to obtain a permit within 24 hours after <br />commencement of such work shall result in a penalty of double fees. <br />30.1 Fees - New construction and additions. Permit issuance fee - <br />$4.00 plus $.Ol per ampere for each service switch 600 volts or less; <br />.$.05 per ampere for each service switch in excess of 600 volts. In <br />addition the following fees shall apply to each type of construction; <br />$.03 per square ft. <br />a. Gasoline service station buildings. <br />b. Drinking or dining establishments. <br />c. Power plants -- pumping plants. <br />$.O1 per square ft. <br />a. Woodworking establishments, planing mills. <br />b. Steel mills, factories. <br />c. Manufacturing plants, assembly plants. <br />d. Gasoline service station open canopies. <br />e. Repair garages, aircraft repair hangars. <br />f. Ice plants, cold storage plants. <br />g. Creameries, bakeries, food processing plants. <br />h. Hotels, motels, apartment houses, lodging houses. <br />i. Dwellings. <br />$.0075 per square ft. <br />-2- <br />
