The public making purchases of said fuel has been left without the <br />ability to readily determine the price and/or quantity available, resulting in a <br />disruption of orderly business practices. Such disruption has caused or the <br />City Council finds there is a reasonable likelihood the same will cause threats <br />of violence or violence at said places of business, and accordingly, in order <br />to assure the health, safety, and welfare of the public purchasing said fuel <br />and also the personnel who dispense the same, the City Council does ordain <br />that this Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its adoption and shall <br />be effective for six months from its effective date. <br />ATTEST: <br />City Clerk <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of April, 1974. <br />- 3 - <br />Mayor <br />
