THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES ORDAIN AS SECTION 1. That the "Uniform Building Code, 1973 Edition, Volume I, Volume II Mechanical, Volume III Housing, Volume IV Abatement of Dangerous Buildings, Volume V Signs, and Appendices thereto, published and copyrighted by the International Conference of Building Officials", three copies hof which in book form are now on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Colton for public use and certified by the certificate of the City Clerk of the City of Colton attached ;thereto, reading as follows: "I, Helen A. Ramos, City Clerk of the City of Colton do jhereby certify that the Annexed Uniform Building Code of the 11973 Edition, Volume I, Volume II Mechanical, Volume III Housing, Volume IV Abatement of Dangerous Buildings, Volume V Signs, and Appendices thereto, published and copyrighted by the International Conference of Building Officials is the Uniform Building Code referred to in Ordinance No. 1449 of the City of Colton", be, and the same is, hereby adopted as the Building Code lof the City of Colton, for regulating the erection, construction, jalteration, repair, moving, removal, demolition, conversion, occupancy, equipment, use, height, area and/or_ maintenance and lother matters contained in said code of all buildings and structure: of any type whatsoever and each of the provisions in reference
