1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6i <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14� <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />29 <br />30 <br />31 <br />32 <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1451 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COLTON,..ADOPTING <br />BY REFERENCE THE "UNIFORM PLUMBING CODE, 1973 <br />EDITION", PROVIDING FOR AND GOVERNING THE <br />INSTALLATION OF PLUMBING WITHIN THE CITY OF <br />COLTON. <br />The City Council of the City of Colton does ordain as follows: <br />SECTION ONE: This ordinance shall be known as the Uniform Plumbing <br />Ordinance. <br />SECTION TWO: Those certain rules and regulations which provide for <br />plumbing installations as set forth in that certain code printed in book form <br />and entitled, "Uniform Plumbing Code, 1973 Edition" as prepared and promul- <br />gated by the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials, <br />three (3) copies of which code have heretofore been filed with and are now on <br />file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Colton and which copies <br />are identified by certificates attached thereto, reading substantially as <br />follows: <br />I, Helen Ramos, hereby certify that the three annexed copies of the code <br />entitled, "Uniform Plumbing Code, 1973 Edition" were filed in the office of <br />the City Clerk of Colton on the 12th day of April 1974 and as <br />true, correct and complete copies of said code which is sought to be adopted <br />by reference by ordinance of the City of Colton. <br />HELEN A. RAMOS <br />City Clerk of the <br />City of Colton <br />Be, and the same area, hereby established as rules and regulations, a <br />code of said City; and each and every provision thereof and hereby referred <br />to and designated and adopted by reference as the "Uniform Plumbing Code, 1973 <br />Edition", and are made a part hereof as fully as though set forth at length in <br />this ordinance, except as hereinafter provided. <br />An ordinance providing for the protection of the public health and safety; <br />requiring a permit and inspection for the installation or alteration of <br />plumbing and drainage systems; creating an Administration Office and a Board <br />of Plumber Examiners, and prescribing their duties; defining certain terms; <br />establishing minimum regulations for the installation, alteration or repair <br />-1- <br />
