R-34-18 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE AND <br />INSTALLATION OF WESTNET FIRE STATION ALERTING <br />CORE SYSTEM FOR $74,370.39 <br />WHEREAS: The Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year commencing July 1, <br />2017 and ending June 30, 2018 was approved and adopted by Resolution No. R-38-17 on June 6, <br />2017; and <br />WHEREAS: The approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances of the <br />City and applicable statues of the State; and <br />WHEREAS: The re -allocation of appropriations between department activities may be <br />made by the City Manager. Amendments (increases/decreases) to the budget shall be by approval <br />and Resolution of the City Council. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES <br />HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. Authorize the City of Colton to purchase and install the Westnet First -In <br />Alerting Core System with Turnout Timers for $74,370.39. <br />SECTION 2. Make an amendment to the 2017-2018 Fiscal Year Budget, increasing the <br />appropriations in the Fire Department Account Number 100-6090-6091-3890 in the amount of <br />$37,185.19 and increasing General Fund revenue account number 100-7820-000 in the amount of <br />$37,185.19. <br />SECTION 3.
