Background Information Confire released a Request for Proposals (RFP) on May 151, 2015 to solicit vendors to provide and install the necessary infrastructure within the dispatch center (Both Primary and PSOC) for a Fire Station Alerting System (FSA). This FSA will establish the foundation for a system that can eventually be used by all agencies; stations served by CONFIRE. A total of three vendors submitted proposals and attended a proposal conference on May 22^d, 2015. All three proposals met the minimum qualifications and were reviewed during the evaluation process. The evaluation committee was comprised of individuals from County Fire, Redlands City Fire, and Confire. The committee evaluated the proposals and recommended Westnet Inc. The balance can be paid for by a lease to own plan over a five-year period or with an allocation from Confire's reserve fund.
