R-43-18 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, <br />TO ESTABLISH UPDATED WATER AND WASTEWATER USERIREGULATORY FEES <br />AND REPEAL AND REPLACE ONLY A "CERTAIN PORTION" OF R-73-12 <br />WHEREAS the City Council has previously adopted various Resolutions to establish <br />fees and charges performed by and/or for the City, and <br />WHEREAS, only a "certain portion" of Resolution No. R-73-12, Section "Public Works <br />Utility Fees" shall be repealed and replaced with the adoption of this Resolution; and <br />WHEREAS, the proposed Public Utilities Water and Wastewater User/Regulatory Fees <br />are not property -related fees, and do not exceed the City's reasonable costs of providing the <br />service or product for which the Public Utilities Water and Wastewater User/Regulatory Fees are <br />imposed, and such Public Utilities Water and Wastewater User/Regulatory Fees are imposed on <br />all persons who are provided such services or products; and <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with Government Code section 66018, the City provided <br />notice of a public hearing to adopt the Public Utilities Water and Wastewater User/Regulatory <br />Fees specified herein, and such notice included the date, time, and location of the public hearing <br />of the City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council conducted a public hearing at its regular meeting on June <br />5, 2018, and at such public hearing, the City Council considered the proposed Public Utilities <br />Water and Wastewater User/Regulatory Fees, heard and considered all oral testimony, written <br />materials, and written protests, concerning the establishment and imposition of the Public Utilities <br />Water and Wastewater User/Regulatory Fees. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1 Tifle of Resolution. This Resolution may be referred to as the "Water and <br />Wastewater User/Regulatory Fee Schedule" of the City. <br />Section 2 Adoption of Fees and Charges. The fees and charges set forth in Exhibit <br />"A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference are approved and shall take effect and <br />be in force according to law. <br />
