Some <br />of the utility rebates are as little as $15.00 and it costs more for the City to process the rebate and <br />cut a check than the incentive amount. Another update that the utility felt necessary was to allow <br />for some flexibility on the 4 month date of the rebate to be submitted. If a rebate is one or a few <br />days past the 4 month period, allow the Utility Director authority to approve the rebate to proceed <br />as long as it is within the current fiscal year. <br />Other additions to enhance our customers experience is adding the following rebates: <br />• Smart thermostat installation for residential customers -$100 <br />• Packaged Terminal Air Conditioner (PTAC) for commercial customers - $100 <br />• Commercial air conditioner replacement and tune-up for commercial customers ($TBD) <br />WHEREAS, Funds for this program are budgeted in the Fiscal Year Budget 2018/2019 for <br />CED through the Public Benefits Program charge in the amount of $823,060 in the following) <br />accounts: <br />0 526-8000-8038-2041-0930-020 <br />0 526-8000-8035-2350-0923-000 <br />0 526-8000-8035-2041-0930-010 <br />0 526-8000-8035-2041-0930-040 <br />0 526-8000-8035-2041-0930-020 <br />0 526-8000-8038-2350-0923-000 <br />0 526-8000-8037-2041-0930-030 <br />0 526-8000-8039-2350-0923-000 <br />0 526-8000-8037-2350-0923-000 <br />0 526-8000-8038-2350-0923-000 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton, State of California do <br />hereby resolve as follows: <br />-5- <br />
