3 <br />PUBLIC COMMENT Limit 5 Minutes <br /> <br />This is the portion of the meeting specifically set aside to invite your comments regarding Consent Calendar items and <br />any matters within the jurisdiction of the City Council; however, any matter that requires action will be referred to staff <br />for investigation and report at a subsequent Council meeting. The Council is prohibited by law from di scussing or taking <br />immediate action on items during this public comment period. <br /> <br />Persons desiring to submit paperwork to the City Council Members shall provide copy of any paperwork to the City <br />Clerk for the Official Record. <br /> <br />Speakers will be limited to 5 minutes; provided, however, that the presiding officer shall have certain discretion to <br />extend or limit time as provided for in the City Council Manual of Procedure. <br />~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />All matters listed under the Consent Calendar are considered by the City Council to be routine and will all be enacted by <br />one motion. There will be no separate discussion of these items prior to the time the City Council votes on the motion, <br />unless councilmembers, staff or the public request that specific items be discussed and/or removed for separate <br />discussions or action. <br /> <br />(1) Minutes – Approval of Minutes for the City Council Regular Meeting Held May 17, 2016 on File in <br />the Office of the City Clerk. [City Clerk Padilla] <br /> <br />(2) Warrants – Approve voucher numbers 155915 to 156074 dated 05/12/2016 and totaling <br />$1,281,998.28; voucher numbers 156077 to 156217 dated 05/19/2016 and totaling <br />$1,908,171.62; voucher numbers 156220 to 156307 dated 05/24/2016 and totaling $781,253.55, <br />less voided checks totaling $1,022.14 and a payroll disbursement listing for the period 04/23/2016 <br />to 05/10/2016 and totaling $755,254.32. Agramonte] <br /> <br />(3) Second Reading of Ordinance No. O-09-16 - Waive full reading and pass second reading of an <br />ordinance of the of the City Council of the City of Colton amending Title 7 of the Colton Municipal <br />Code relating to the City’s comprehensive animal regulations, ORDINANCE NO. O-09-16. <br /> <br />(4) Calling the General Municipal Election for November 8, 2016 – Approve and adopt a Resolution <br />calling and giving notice of a General Municipal Election to be held Tuesday, November 8, 2016; <br />requesting that the County of San Bernardino to render specified services; and adopting <br />regulations for candidates for elective office, RESOLUTION NO. R-41-16 and R-52-16. [Staff Person: <br />S. Sanchez] <br /> <br />(5) Landscape Lighting Maintenance District 1 Fiscal Year 2016-17 – Approve and adopt the following <br />resolutions to initiate proceedings for the annual levy of assessments for Landscape Lighting and <br />Maintenance District 1 for Fiscal Year 2016-17; 1) Resolution initiating proceedings; 2) Resolution <br />approving the preliminary Engineer’s Report; and 3) Resolution of intention to set the public <br />hearing date for June 21, 2016, RESOLUTION NOS.
