2017 MAY 16 CC/SARDA/CUA/CPFA/CHA MEETING 3 - <br />AB 1234 ORAL REPORTS <br />Mayor DeLaRosa asked the members present if there were any brief reports on meetings attended at the <br />expense of the City. (GC Section 53232.3(d). None disclosed. <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />The following community members addressed the Council: John Q. Lee; Don Kenney; Arthur Morgan; Gayle <br />Covey, Field Representative, James Ramos, Supervisor, Third District. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Mayor DeLaRosa presents the Consent Calendar Items 1 through 16 <br /> <br />Councilmembers present selected items for discussion and clarification by staff: CM Woods, Item 3; Mayor <br />DeLaRosa, Item 10. <br /> <br />Motion and Second by CM Navarro/CM Suchil to approve the Consent Calendar Item 1 through 16. <br />Vote: Unanimous <br /> <br />(1) Minutes – Approval of Minutes for the City Council Regular Meeting Held May 2, 2017 on File i n the <br />Office of the City Clerk. <br /> <br />(2) Warrants – Approve voucher numbers 162656 to 162741 dated 04/24/2017, totaling $67,517.30; <br />voucher numbers 162742 to 162872 dated 04/27/2017, totaling $1,578,385.92; voucher numbers 162873 <br />to 162998 dated 05/04/2017, totaling $1,531,798.09, and a payroll disbursement listing for the period <br />04/08/2017 to 04/21/2017, totaling $765,320.27, on file in the Finance Department. <br /> <br />(3) City Treasurer’s Report – Receive and File City Treasurer’s Report for March 2017. <br /> <br />(4) Destruction of Obsolete Records – Approve and adopt a Resolution authorizing the destruction of <br />certain obsolete records, RESOLUTION NO. R-25-17. <br /> <br />(5) 2016-17 City Law Enforcement Grant – Approve and adopt a Resolution and accept the 2016-17 City <br />Law Enforcement Grant (BSCC) in the amount of $78,307, RESOLUTION NO. R-26-17. <br /> <br />(6) 2016 Homeland Security Grant - Approve and adopt a Resolution to accept the 2016 Homeland Security <br />Grant (HSGP) in the amount of $22,343, along with its accompanying MOU with the County of San <br />Bernardino and appropriate the funds into the Police Department’s HSGP expenditure account, <br />RESOLUTION NO. R-27-17. <br /> <br />(7) 2016 JAG Grant – Approve and adopt a Resolution, and accept the 2016 Edward Byrne Memorial <br />Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) in the amount of $12,342, along with its accompanying MOU with <br />County of San Bernardino and appropriate the funds into the Police Department’s Safety Equipment <br />account, RESOLUTION NO. R-28-17. <br /> <br />(8) Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) - Approve and adopt a Resolution to amend FY 2016-17 <br />budget; appropriate $1,683 available in the Federal Asset Forfeiture Fund to the Police Department’s <br />Federal Asset Seizure expenditure account; approve the purchase of an automatic license plate reader <br />(ALPR) from Selex ES using Federal Asset Forfeiture and 2016 JAG funds, RESOLUTION NO. R-29- <br />17. <br /> <br /> <br />
