2017 MAY 16 CC/SARDA/CUA/CPFA/CHA MEETING 5 - <br />Title 18 (Zoning) of the Colton Municipal Code to address standards and permitting for accessory dwelling <br />units. <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />None <br /> <br />Motion and Second by CM Suchil/CM Navarro to closed the Public Hearing. <br />Vote. Unanimous <br /> <br />COUNCIL DISCUSSION <br />Discussion and discernment by Councilmembers present with questions and clarification provided by staff: <br />Director Tomich; City Attorney Campos; and City Treasurer De La Torre. <br /> <br />Mayor DeLaRosa announced a consensus of Council to continue the Public Hearing and return to Council for <br />second meeting in June (June 20, 2017) for final discussion and action. <br /> <br />BUSINESS ITEMS <br /> <br />(18) Youth Commissioner Program – Waive full reading, ready by title only and introduce an ordinance of <br />the City Council of the City of Colton, amending section 2.30.020 of Chapter 2.30 of Title 2 of the <br />Colton Municipal Code for the purpose of allowing the appointment of Youth Commissioners to <br />Commissions and Committees, ORDINANCE NO. O-05-17. <br /> <br />Staff Presentation <br />City Attorney Campos presented for Council consideration the following subject matter as it relates to the <br />Youth Commission Program. On May 17, 2016, Ordinance No. O-10-16 was passed that would disband and <br />dissolve certain commissions that were no longer active and unintentionally deleted the language as it related to <br />the appointment of up to two Youth Commissioners for each Commission and Committee of the City. <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />None <br /> <br />Motion and Second by CM Suchil/CM González to waive full reading and read by title only and introduce <br />Ordinance No. O-05-17. <br />Vote: Unanimous <br /> <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL ORAL REPORTS AND COMMENTS <br />Comments from Mayor and Council on various issues and activities throughout the community. <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER’S REPORTS <br />None <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />At 7:02 p.m., Mayor DeLaRosa adjourned the Regular Council Meeting. <br /> <br /> <br /> _________________________________________________________________________ <br />Carolina R.
