<br />2017 JUNE 20 CC/SARDA/CUA/CPFA/CHA REG MEETING 5 - <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />(15) Contract – Department of Education – School Age – Approve and adopt a Resolution, approving the <br />State of California Contract CCTR-7196 for the provision of school age education services in the Early <br />Childhood Education Division of the Community Services Department for FY 2017-18, RESOLUTION <br />NO. R-51-17. <br /> <br />(16) MOU / Fire Association – Approve the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the City of <br />Colton and the Colton Firefighters Association (CFA). <br /> <br />(17) Pacific Rail Industries, Interruptible and 66 kV Electric Rates – Approve and adopt a Resolution <br />establishing a High Voltage (66kV) Electric Rate, (2) approve the new high voltage rate for Pacific Rail <br />Industries, effective May 25, 2017, and (3) authorize the Utilities Director to sign all necessary <br />documents with the California Independent System Operator (CAISO) and Pacific Rail to enroll Pacific <br />Rail in the CAISO’s Demand Response program that pays Pacific Rail to interrupt their loads during <br />periods of high prices on the CAISO system, RESOLUTION NO. R-52-17. <br /> <br />(18) Astoria 2 Solar Project – Approve the second amendment to the Astoria 2 Solar Project Power Sales <br />Agreement between the City of Colton and Southern California Public Power Authority (SCPPA), and <br />to authorize the City Manager to execute the second amendment documents, in substantially the form <br />provided. <br /> <br />(19) Maintenance Services Agreement with Commercial Aquatics Services for the Gonzales Center – <br />Authorize the City Manager to execute the Maintenance Services Agreement with Commercial Aquatics <br />Services (CSA), in the amount not to exceed $32,520 annual service for the Gonzalez Community <br />Center pool, as per the terms of the agreement. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />(20) Zoning Text Amendment: Minor Conditional Use Permits <br /> <br />TIME AND PLACED FIXED TO CONSIDER THE CONTINUED PUBLIC HEARING FROM MAY <br />16, 2017, A PUBLIC HEARING TO WAIVE FULL READING, READ BY TITLE ONLY AND <br />INTRODUCE AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON TO <br />MODIFY VARIOUS PROVISIONS OF TITLE 18, CHAPTER 18.48 (SPECIAL PROVISIONS) OF <br />THE COLTON MUNICIPAL CODE PERTAINING TO ACCESSORY DWELLING UNIT <br />REGULATIONS. <br /> <br />Mayor DeLaRosa declared the Public Hearing Open. <br /> <br />City Clerk Padilla submitted the Notice of Continuation (on file in the City Clerk’s Office) and there were no protests <br />or objections thereto. <br /> <br />STAFF PRESENTATION <br />Mark Tomich, Development Services Director, presented for Council consideration and action.
