2017 OCTOBER 05 CC/SARDA/CUA/CPFA/CHA ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING - 3 - <br />CR&R Presentation <br />Dean Ruffridge, CR&R Senior Vice-President, reviewed several handouts given to <br />Councilmembers present to clarify items referenced during the September 19, 2017 public <br />hearing regarding solid waste rate increase: (1) Excerpts from the Amended and Restated <br />Agreement Effective July 1, 2016; and (2) County of San Bernardino Rate Comparison Survey <br />2017/18. <br /> <br />Discussion by Councilmember present with clarification provided by CR&R representative, <br />Senior Vice-President, Dean Ruffridge. <br /> <br />In conclusion Mayor DeLaRosa announced with consensus by Councilmembers present the <br />continuation of the Workshop/Public Hearing to October 19, 2017. <br /> <br />Senior Vice-President, Dean Ruffridge requested Council to direct the city attorney to send a <br />letter on behalf of the city as to the areas of concern that need ed further clarification in order for <br />Council to respond in an open forum. <br /> <br />2.
