Randall Levin, CEO & Managing Director ASU University Realty and Christine Aghassi, Partner, <br />DOLPHIN Group; presented a request on behalf of University Realty a Sphere of Influence Amendment <br />allowing the opportunity to explore to bring future public services to 209 acres, including fire protection, <br />infrastructure and future land use regulations. <br /> <br />Mayor DeLaRosa asked for a consensus of Councilmembers present to return at the December 19, 2017 regular <br />council meeting as an agenda item for discussion and possible direction on the project; no objection; so <br />recognized. <br /> <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS <br /> <br />POSSIBLE CONFLICT OF INTEREST DISCLOSURES FOR THE COUNCIL MEETING OF DECEMBER <br />5, 2017. <br /> <br />GIFT DISCLOSURES <br />Mayor DeLaRosa asked the members present if there were any agenda items that were a conflict of interest <br />pursuant to CMC Section 2.04.030. None disclosed. <br /> <br />AB 1234 ORAL REPORTS <br />Mayor DeLaRosa asked the members present if there were any brief reports on meetings attended at the <br />expense of the City. (GC Section 53232.3(d). None disclosed. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENTS <br /> <br /> District 1 – Appointment to Planning Commission – Linda Tripp <br />MPT Toro submitted the name of Linda Tripp for appointment to the Planning Commission; consensus by <br />Councilmembers present; no objection; and so ratified. <br /> <br />Development Services Director Tomich presented a Certificate of Appreciation to Linda Tripp for her service to <br />the Historic Preservation Commission.
