ELECTRIC VEHICLE DISCOUNT <br />This rate will be available to customers served on Rate Schedule R-1 (Residential Rate). <br />To be eligible for this rate discount, the Customer must provide a copy of the annual registration <br />for the eligible electric vehicle (EV). Only Customers who charge California DMV registered, <br />roadworthy vehicles at a location served by the Utility are eligible. <br />Participating customers will receive discounts an additional 250 kWh in their Tier 2 consumption <br />allowance for electricity. This will allow the customer to be billed at the Tier 2 $ per kWh rate for <br />consumption between 251 and 750 kWh per month. The current tier/rate structure for residential <br />customers is as follows: <br />Tier 1 <br />Up to 250 kWh per month <br />$0.08000 <br />Tier 2 <br />251 to 500 kWh per month <br />$0.19305 <br />Tier 3 <br />501 to 1,500 kWh per <br />month <br />$0.22770 <br />Tier 4 <br />1,501 kWh and above per <br />month <br />$0.29205 <br />Based on the current rate/tier structure shown above, the following tier/rate structure would apply <br />to a qualified EV customer: <br />Tier 1 <br />Up to 250 kWh per month <br />$0.08000 <br />Tier 2 <br />251 to 750 kWh per month <br />$0.19305 <br />Tier 3 <br />751 to 1,500 kWh per <br />month <br />$0.22770 <br />Tier 4 <br />1,501 kWh and above per <br />month <br />$0.29205 <br />The EV Discount is an adjustment to the consumption allowance for Tier 2 of the rate structure. <br />The customer will be charged the current per kWh costs for consumption while they are <br />participating in this program. <br />ISSUED BY <br />David X.
