<br />6. Certain local amendments are necessary for administrative clarification, and do not
<br />modify a building standard pursuant to California Health & Safety Code Sections 17958,
<br />17985.7 and/or 18941.5. These amendments establish administrative standards for the
<br />effective enforcement of the building standards in the City of Colton.
<br />Applicable Code Amendments: CFC 101.1, 103.2, 104.12, 105.6, 109.3, 111.4, 301.3
<br />Section 2. Section 15.04.010 of the Colton Municipal Code is hereby amended in its
<br />entirety to read as follows:
<br />"15.04.010 Buildinq Codes Adopted.
<br />For the purpose of prescribing regulations for erection, construction, enlargement,
<br />alteration, repair, improvement, removal, conversion, demolition, occupancy, equipment,
<br />use, height, and area of buildings and structures, the following building codes (collectively,
<br />the "Codes"), subject to the modifications set forth in this Chapter, are hereby adopted:
<br />A. The California Building Standards Code, 2013 Edition, including:
<br />1. The California Building Code, 2013 Edition, Volumes 1 and 2, including
<br />Chapter 1, based on the 2012 International Building Code as published by the International
<br />Code Council;
<br />2. The California Residential Code, 2013 Edition, including Chapter 1, based on
<br />the 2012 International Residential Code as published by the International Code Council;
<br />3. The California Green Building Standards Code, 2013 Edition;
<br />4. The California Plumbing Code, 2013 Edition, including Chapter 1, based on
<br />the 2012 Uniform Plumbing Code as published by the International Association of
<br />Plumbing and Mechanical Officials;
<br />5. The California Mechanical Code, 2013 Edition, including Chapter 1, based on
<br />the 2012 Uniform Mechanical Code as published by the International Association of
<br />Plumbing and Mechanical Officials;
<br />6. The California Electrical Code, 2013 Edition, including Article 89, based on
<br />the 2011 National Electrical Code as published by the National Fire Protection Association;
<br />B. The International Property Maintenance Code, 2012 Edition, as published by the
<br />International Code Council;
<br />C. The Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings, 1997 Edition, as
<br />published by the International Code Council.
<br />The provisions of these Codes, as amended by this chapter, shall constitute the building
<br />regulations of the City of Colton. Where the California Code of Regulations and State
<br />Building Standards Code of Regulations differ from any sections of the Codes, State
<br />regulations shall prevail over the Codes.
