2018 JUNE 13 CC/SARDA/CUA/CPFA/CHA SPECIAL MEETING - 1 - <br />CITY OF COLTON <br />CITY COUNCIL/SUCCESSOR AGENCY TO THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br /> FOR THE CITY OF COLTON/COLTON UTILITY AUTHORITY/ <br />COLTON PUBLIC FINANCING AUTHORITY AND <br />COLTON HOUSING AUTHORITY <br />CLOSED SESSION MINUTES <br /> <br />June 13, 2018 <br /> <br />A Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was held at 5:32 p.m. on the above- <br />given date in the Council Chamber of City Hall, located at 650 North La Cadena Drive, Colton, <br />California, Mayor Pro Temp Woods presiding. Notice of Special Meeting was given on June 12, <br />2018, in compliance with Government Code Section 54954.2. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL ROLL CALL <br />Councilmembers present were Toro, Cisneros, Navarro, González, Mayor Pro Tem Woods, <br />Suchil (appeared at 5:56 p.m.) and Mayor DeLaRosa (appeared at 5:54). <br /> <br />STAFF PRESENT <br />City Mana ger Smith, City Attorney Martinez, and City Clerk Padilla. <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />None <br /> <br />CLOSED SESSION <br />City Attorney Martinez announced the City Council would meet in Closed Session to Discuss <br />Item A. <br /> <br />A. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL – EXPOSURE TO LITIGATION <br />Pursuant to California Government Code Sections 54956.9(d)(2). <br />One potential case: Lake Cadena Investments and Mobile Community Management <br />Company <br /> <br />Mayor Pro Tem Woods adjourned the meeting to Closed Session at 5:33 p.m. and at 6:04 p.m., <br />the meeting reconvened, with all members present heretofore. <br /> <br />City Attorney Martinez announced that the City Council did meet in Closed Session and <br />discussed Item A; City Council by a vote of 5-0 (Mayor DeLaRosa & CM Suchil absent) <br />authorized the City Manager to enter into a tolling agreement to toll the statute of limitations for <br />filing a lawsuit on the entitlements and EIR related to the Roquet Ranch Specific Plan. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL/SUCCESSOR AGENCY TO THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY FOR THE <br />CITY OF COLTON/COLTON UTILITY AUTHORITY/ <br />COLTON PUBLIC FINANCING AUTHORITY AND <br />COLTON HOUSING AUTHORITY <br />SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES <br /> <br />June 13, 2018 <br />
