2016 MAY 03 REG CC/SARDA/CUA/CPFA/CHA MEETING 5 - <br />(8) Purchase of Police Vehicles – Approve the purchase of four (4) new Ford Interceptor Police SUV <br />vehicles and the related emergency equipment including installation (estimated cost of $41,825.46 per <br />vehicle, or $167,301.84 total). <br /> <br />(9) Utility Agreement between Colton and SANBAG – Approve the utility Agreement between the City of <br />Colton and the San Bernardino Associated Governments (SANBAG) for the relocation of the existing <br />sewer main line for the Interstate 215 and Barton Road interchange project. <br /> <br />(10) Professional Services Agreement with KOA Corporation – Authorize the award of Professional Services <br />Agreement to KOA Corporation in the amount not to exceed $204,357.04 for the Environmental and <br />Design of the I-10/Rancho Avenue Interchange Eastbound On-ramp Improvement Project. <br /> <br />BUSINESS ITEMS <br /> <br />(11) Disbanding of Certain Boards and Commissions – Waive Full Reading, Read by Title Only and <br />Introduce an Ordinance to Amend certain sections of Chapter 2.30 of the Colton Municipal Code <br />relating to the dissolution of certain Boards and Commissions. ORDINANCE NO. O-10-16. <br /> <br />Staff Presentation <br />City Attorney Campos presented an overview of the Agenda Report and requested approval of staff’s <br />recommendation. <br /> <br />Council Discussion <br />Discussion and discernment by Councilmembers present with clarification provided by staff. <br /> <br />Motion and Second by MPT Suchil/CM Jorrin to waive full reading, read by title only and introduce Ordinance <br />No. O-10-16. <br />Vote: Unanimous vote. <br /> <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL ORAL REPORTS AND COMMENTS <br />Council Members made comments on various issues and activities throughout the community. <br /> <br />Mayor DeLaRosa referred back to Item 12 on the Agenda Waste Disposal Agreement - Approve Amendment No. 6 to the <br />Waste Disposal Agreement (WDA) between the County of San Bernardino and the City of Colton to change the termination date from <br />June 30, 2016 to June 30, 2021. (Item #9, 4/19/16 agenda). Discussion and consensus to return the item for discussion <br />and action to May 11, 2016, instead of waiting until the next regular council meeting of May 17, 2016. <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER’S REPORTS <br />City Manager Smith reviewed with Council information sent in the form of a memorandum related to the <br />restrooms at all city parks and hours they will be open; this included Fleming Park. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />At 7:49 p.m., Mayor DeLaRosa adjourned the Regular Council Meeting in memoriam of Hope Luna; <br /> <br /> <br /> _________________________________________________________________________ Carolina R.
