CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />For City Council Meeting of July 18, 2000 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor & City Council <br />APPROVAL: Henry Garcia, City Manager �+^� � <br />FROM: Dennis Morris, Human Resource Director ^��j �' <br />SUBJECT: Consideration and Approval of Reclassifications Requested and A Consolidated Salary <br />Resolution. <br />DATE: July 10, 2000 <br />BACKGROiJND: Reclassifications were requested and studies completed for eighteen (18) classifications. Twelve <br />(12) reclassifications were found to be appropriate and approved by the Human Resource Director and the Ciry <br />Manager based on the documentarion presented In addition, over the last year, there have been some compensation <br />adjushnents approved by the City Council for other employees. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: Administrative Policy 4.05330 provides a process for requesting a classification study. <br />Eighteen (18) reclassification requests were received of which rivelve (12) were approved by the Human Resource <br />Director and the City Manager.
