R-08-00 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />MAKING CERTAIN FINDINGS UNDER HEALTH AND SAFETY CODE <br />SECTION 33445 CONSENTING TO THE PAYMENT BY THE <br />REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY FOR THE CITY OF COLTON OF TAX <br />INCREMENT FUNDS FOR THE ACQUISITION, INSTALLATION AND <br />CONSTRUCTION OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS WHICH BENEFTr THE <br />SANTA ANA RIVER REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT (1"8 COLTON <br />PUBLIC FINANCING AUTHORITY TAX ALLOCATION REVENUE <br />BONDS SERIES 1"8A AND SERIES 1"8B) <br />WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency for the City of Colton (the "Agency") may with <br />�he consent of the City Council of the City of Colton (the "City") pay for all or a part of the cost <br />A the installation and construction of any building, facility, structure or other improvement which <br />is publicly owned either within or outside of the redevelopment project area of the Santa Ana <br />River Redevelopment Project (the "Project Area") as set forth in Health and Safety Code Section <br />33445; and <br />WHEREAS, the Agency has obtained a loan of funds from the Colton Public Finance <br />(the "Authority") pursuant to the terms and conditions of a loan agreement, entitled <br />Agreement (Santa Ana River Redevelopment Project)" dated as of April 1, 1998 (the <br />1998 Santa Ana River Loan Agreement") which authorizes the Agency to draw certain funds <br />int the "Santa Ana River Bond Account" in an aggregate amount not to exceed $4,102,317.01, <br />a loan from the Authority and the Agency may use and apply the proceeds of such loan of funds <br />tich it may draw from the Santa Ana River Bond Account for any of the purposes authorized <br />der Section 3.09 of the 1998 Santa Ana River Loan Agreement, including for the purpose of <br />ying for the cost of the installation and construction of buildings, facilities, structures or other <br />which are publicly owned and situated within or of benefit to the redevelopment <br />area of the Santa Ana River Redevelopment Project; and <br />WHEREAS, the Agency has requested that the citizen advisory committee for the Santa <br />River Project provide its recommendation to the Agency for the prioritization of installation <br />COLT/0001/DOC/296 <br />11/18/99 1:15 j� <br />- 1 - <br />
