R-07-02 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />CALIFORNIA, PURSUANT TO GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 21025, <br />MAKING DETERMINATION OF DISABILITY STATUS FOR LOCAL <br />SAFETY EMPLOYEE PATRICK G. CROWE <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton (hereinafter referred to as Agency) is a contracti <br />agency of the Public Employees' Retirement System; and <br />WHEREAS, the Public Employees' Retirement Law requires that a contracti <br />agency determine whether an employee of such agency in employment in which he i <br />classified as a local safety member is disabled for purposes of Public Employee: <br />Retirement Law and whether such disability is "industrial" within the meaning of suc <br />law; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Agency confirms that a claim was filed by Patrick G. Cr <br />alleging disability from his position as Police Chief and that a settlement agreement <br />been entered into by the interested parties; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the medical and other evide <br />relevant to such alleged disability; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the governing body of the at <br />agency hereby finds and determines that Patrick G. Crowe is incapacitated within <br />meaning of the Public Employees' Retirement Law for performance of his duties in <br />position of Police Chief; and, <br />
