1 RESOLUTION NO, 2431 <br /> 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF COLTON,. CALIFORNIA,. CALLING AND <br /> 3 GIVING NOTICE OF THE HOLDING OF A GENERAL <br /> MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD IN SAID CITY <br /> 4 ON TUESDAY, THE 14TH DAY OF APRIL, 1964, <br /> FOR THE ELECTION OF CERTAIN OFFICERS OF <br /> 5 SAID CITY AS REQUIRED BY THE PROVISIONS OF <br /> THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA RE- <br /> 6 LATING TO GENERAL LAW CITIES. <br /> 7 WHEREAS, under the provisions of the laws relating to General Law <br /> 8 Cities in the State of California, a regular general municipal election shall be <br /> 9 held on the 14th day of April, 1964, for the election of three members of the <br /> 10 City Council of said City for the full term of four years, (a City Clerk of said <br /> 11 City for the full term of four years, and a City Treasurer of said City for the <br /> 12 full term of four years); <br /> 13 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br /> 14 CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND <br /> 15 ORDER AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 16 SECTION 1. That pursuant to the requirements of the laws of the State <br /> 17 of California relating to General Law Cities within said State, there shall be, <br /> 18 and there is hereby called and ordered, held in the City of Colton, County of <br /> 19 San Bernardino, State of California, on Tuesday, the 14th day of April, 1964, <br /> 20 a regular general municipal election of the qualified electors of said City for <br /> 21 the purpose of electing three members of the City Council of said City for the <br /> 22 full term of four years; (a City Clerk of said City for the full term of four years; <br /> 23 and a City Treasurer of said City for the full term of four years). <br /> 24 SECTION 2. That the ballots to be used at said election shall be, both <br /> 25 as to form and matter contained therein, such as may be required by law to be <br /> 26 used thereat. <br /> 27 SECTION 3. That the City Clerk of said City is hereby authorized, <br /> 28 instructed and directed to procure and furnish any and all official ballots, <br /> 29 notices, printed matter and all supplies, equipment and paraphernalia that may <br /> 30 be necessary in order to properly and lawfully conduct said election. <br /> 31 SECTION 4. That for the purpose of holding said regular general <br /> 32 municipal election, there shall be and are hereby established fourteen (14) <br /> - 1 - <br />
