11 RESOLUTI ON NO, 2535 <br /> 2 RESOLUTION GIVING NOTICE OF PROPSED <br /> ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF COLTON OF <br /> 3 UNINHABITED TERRITORY D SCRIBED HERE- <br /> IN AND DESIGNATED "SOUTH COLTON ANNEXA- <br /> 4 TION NO, 13" AND GIVING NOTICE OF TIME <br /> AND PLACE FOR HEARING OF PROTESTS <br /> 5 THERETO. <br /> 6 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> 7 COLTON: <br /> 8 SECTION 1. That, pursuant to the provisions of the Annexation of <br /> 9 Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939 (Special procedure under Section 35310.1 <br /> 10 Government Code) a petition signed by the owner of all the land in the here- <br /> 11 inafter described territory was filed with the C4ty of Colton requesting annexa- <br /> 12 tion of the following described territory to the City of Colton. <br /> 13 SECTION 2. That the territory which the petitioner is proposing to <br /> 14 annex to the City of Colton is situate in the County of San Bernardino, State <br /> 15 of California, hereby designated "South Colton Annexation No. 13" and <br /> 16 described as follows: <br /> 17 A portion of Section 3, Township 2 South, Range 4 West, San <br /> Bernardino Base and Meridian, in the County of San Bernar- <br /> 18 dino, State of California, described as follows: <br /> 19 Commencing at the Southeast corner of said Section 3; thence <br /> North along the East line of said Section 3 a distance of 924, 33 <br /> 20 feet to the True Point of Beginning; <br /> 21 Thence continuing North along said East line a distance of 470 feet; <br /> thence West parallel to the South line of said section a distance of <br /> 22 1320 feet more or less to the West line of the east 1/2 of the East <br /> 1/2 Section 3; thence South along said West line a distance of 470 feet; <br /> 23 thence East parallel to the South line of said section a distance of <br /> 1320 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. (14, 27 AC) <br /> 24 <br /> SECTION 3. That the County Boundary Commission of San Bernar- <br /> 25 <br /> dino County, California did in session duly assembled on January 7, 1965 <br /> 26 <br /> consider the proposed annexation boundaries of said "South Colton Annexation <br /> 27 <br /> No. 13" as above described, and as submitted to said Commission by the <br /> 28 <br /> proponents of said annexation and that the Lota1 Agency Formation Coxn- <br /> 29 <br /> mission of San Bernardino County, California did in session duly assembled <br /> 30 <br /> on January 27, 1965 approve the proposed annexation boundaries of said <br /> 31 <br /> "South Colton Annexation No, 13" <br /> 32 <br />
