CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />FOR COUNCIL MEETING OF JULY 17, 2001 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />FROM: Tom Hendrix, Fire Chief - <br />SUBJECT: Request For Recruitment and Ratification of Employee <br />Appointment to the Full-time Position of Fire Battalion Chief <br />DATE: June 28, 2001 <br />Item #14 <br />BACKGROUND: There is one vacant Battalion Chief position in the Fire Department. <br />Attached is the job description of the classification; the salary range is $5,376 - $6536 <br />per month. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: Recruitment for said position will be conducted and an <br />eligibility list established upon Council approval.
