RESOLUTION NO. 2686 <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> 1 COLTON, CALIFORNIA, ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION OF <br /> CERTAIN STREET WORK AND ORDERING POSTING AND <br /> 2 PUBLICATION OF NOTICES INVITING SEALED PROPOSALS <br /> OR BIDS. <br /> 3 <br /> (Assessment District No. 548) <br /> 4 <br /> 5 WHEREAS, this City Council on the 5th day of April, 1966, <br /> 6 adopted its Resolution No. 2681, declaring its intention to <br /> 7 order certain street work to be done or improvement to be made <br /> 8 under and pursuant to the Improvement Act of 1911, Division 7 <br /> g of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California; <br /> 10 and <br /> 11 WHEREAS, said Resolution NJ. 2681 was duly published and <br /> 1.2 notices of the passage thereof were duly pasted and mailed, and <br /> 13 affidavits of publication, posting and mailing have been duly <br /> 14 filed; and <br /> 15 WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed in said Resolution <br /> 16 ND. 2681, a hearing was duly held by this City Council at which <br /> 17 all written protests or objections, if any, were duly presented <br /> 18 and read and all persons desiring to be heard thereon were heard, <br /> 19 and this City Council gave all persons present an opportunity <br /> 20 to be heard in respect of any matter relating to the work proposed <br /> 21 in said Resolution No. 2681 or the boundaries of the assessment <br /> 22 district described therein, or in any way relating to the <br /> 23 proceedings proposed by said Resolution No. 2681; and <br /> 24 WHEREAS, all such persons desiring to be heard have been <br /> 25 heard by this City Council ; and <br /> 26 WHEREAS, protests have not been made by the owners of mare <br /> 27 than one-half of the area of the property to be assessed for <br /> 28 the work or improvement, and all protests and objections have been <br /> 29 overruled and denied by this City Council, and this City Council <br />? Z0 has acquired jurisdiction to order the work described in <br /> 31 said Resolution No. 2681; <br /> 32 <br /> J-i <br /> • <br />
