RESOLUTION NO. 2686 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 1 COLTON, CALIFORNIA, ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN STREET WORK AND ORDERING POSTING AND 2 PUBLICATION OF NOTICES INVITING SEALED PROPOSALS OR BIDS. 3 (Assessment District No. 548) 4 5 WHEREAS, this City Council on the 5th day of April, 1966, 6 adopted its Resolution No. 2681, declaring its intention to 7 order certain street work to be done or improvement to be made 8 under and pursuant to the Improvement Act of 1911, Division 7 g of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California; 10 and 11 WHEREAS, said Resolution NJ. 2681 was duly published and 1.2 notices of the passage thereof were duly pasted and mailed, and 13 affidavits of publication, posting and mailing have been duly 14 filed; and 15 WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed in said Resolution 16 ND. 2681, a hearing was duly held by this City Council at which 17 all written protests or objections, if any, were duly presented 18 and read and all persons desiring to be heard thereon were heard, 19 and this City Council gave all persons present an opportunity 20 to be heard in respect of any matter relating to the work proposed 21 in said Resolution No. 2681 or the boundaries of the assessment 22 district described therein, or in any way relating to the 23 proceedings proposed by said Resolution No. 2681; and 24 WHEREAS, all such persons desiring to be heard have been 25 heard by this City Council ; and 26 WHEREAS, protests have not been made by the owners of mare 27 than one-half of the area of the property to be assessed for 28 the work or improvement, and all protests and objections have been 29 overruled and denied by this City Council, and this City Council ? Z0 has acquired jurisdiction to order the work described in 31 said Resolution No. 2681; 32 J-i •
