CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />FOR COUNCIL MEETING OF JULY 18,2006 <br />TO: HONORABLE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL <br />FROM: DILU DE ALWIS, FINANCE DIRECTOR �V <br />SUBJECT: APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION APPOINTING SPECIFIC <br />REPRESENTATIVES TO THE INDEPENDENT CITIES RISK <br />MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY (ICRMA) <br />DATE: <br />ITEM #12 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Currently the ICRMA allows Member Cities to designate a representative and two (2) alternate <br />Representatives to the Governing Board of the ICRMA. Per the ICRMA records the Colton City <br />Council had designated Council Member John Mitchell as a Representative, Finance Director Dilu <br />de Alwis and Human Resources Director Anthony Arroyo as Substitute Representatives and <br />Substitute Alternate Representatives respectively. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: <br />ICRMIA regulations state that when the City ICRMA Governing Board Representatives change or <br />are added, an amendment must be made to the existing City Resolution. Through resolution at the <br />March 15, 2005 meeting, the City Council appointed Council Member John Mitchell to the lCRMA <br />Governing Board.
