ACEVEDO <br />Finance Director 0* <br />SUBJECT: Award of Bid to Marquette Electronics, Inc. for Two, Full -featured, Pre -hospital <br />Defibrillator/Monitors With Integral Direct Signal Writer for the Fire Department in the Amount <br />of $18,510.35. <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The Fire Department submitted a requirement by standard requisition to General Services to purchase a full - <br />featured, pre -hospital Defibrillator/Monitor with an Integral Direct Signal Writer. We were not certain whether <br />this was a sole source item or not. To preclude any uncertainty, it was determined to be in the best interest <br />of the City to proceed with a formal bid. <br />DISCUSSION: <br />Advertising took place on April 8, 1993. Bid opening was held at 2:30 P.M., April 22, 1993, in the General <br />Services office.
