CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />FOR COUNCIL MEETING OF MAY & 1997 <br />TO: HONORABLE MAYOR & CITY COUNCIL <br />APPROVAL: MALIK DANTALA FREEMAN, CITY MANAGER <br />FROM: GRACIE FERNANDEZ HARMON, PERSONNEL DIRECTOR e <br />J <br />SUBJECT: RATIFICATION OF EMPLOYEE APPOINTMENT TO THE FULL-TIME <br />POSITION OF SENIOR ACCOUNTANT IN THE FINANCE <br />DEPARTMENT <br />DATE: APRIL 28,1997 <br />BACKGROUND: There is one (1) Senior Accountant position vacant in the Finance Department. <br />Attached is the job description for the classification, salary range is $2,934 - $3,565 per month. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: Recruitment for said position was conducted and an eligibility list <br />established. The candidate being referred for Council ratification meets the education and experience <br />requirements as specified in the job description. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: None. <br />FUNDING AVAILABILITY: This is a general fund position in the fiscal year 1996-97 budget <br />funded as follows: Account No. 100-6040-6041-1010 (salary) and Account No. 100-6040-6041- <br />1100 (salary related benefits). <br />Anna A.
