CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />FOR COUNCIL MEETING OF May 4,1999 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor & City Counci <br />APPROVAL: Henry Garcia, City Manage <br />FROM: Dennis Morris, Human Resource Director <br />SUBJECT: Claim Against the City Submitted by: - Recommend Denial <br />DATE: April 21,1999 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />In accordance with the procedures adopted to insure proper and efficient handling of Liability <br />Claims against the City of Colton, the attached report has been received from the City's Liability <br />Claims Administrator. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: <br />A claimant has filed a claim against the City. Evaluation of this claim reflect that this case would <br />be highly questionable or no liability on the part of the City of Colton. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />Not applicable. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that the above -listed claim be denied to commence the Statute of Limitations. <br />PREPARED BY: <br />Vicki Porter <br />Item # 12 <br />
