CITY COUNCIL RESOLUTION NO. K-53-03 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />MAKING CERTAIN ENVIRONMENTAL FINDINGS, PURSUANT TO <br />THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT, <br />REGARDING THE PROPOSED <br />REDEVELOPMENT PLAN AND <br />RELATED ACTIONS <br />LA CADENA CORRIDOR <br />AUTHORIZING CERTAIN <br />Item #413 <br />WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency for the City of Colton (the "Agency") <br />has presented a redevelopment plan for the La Cadena Corridor (the "Redevelopment <br />Plan") to the City of Colton (the "City") for adoption; and <br />WHEREAS, the adoption of the Redevelopment Plan by the City is a "Project" <br />under the California Environmental Quality Act, Public Resources Code Sections 2 1000, <br />et seq. ("CEQA"), requiring environmental review in accordance with CEQA (Public <br />Resources Code Section 21065 and Title 14 California Code of Regulations Section <br />15378)� <br />WHEREAS, the Agency is the public agency with the principal responsibility for <br />carrying out the Redevelopment Plan; <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Health and Saf�ty Code Section 33333.3, the Agency is <br />responsible for preparation of an Environmental Impact Report ("EIR"), under CEQA, <br />regarding the adoption of the Redevelopment Plan; <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with Health and Safety Code Section 33357, the <br />Agency will be the public entity to act first in approval of the Redevelopment Plan; <br />484i- I i45-6000 I <br />
