52 CLOSED SESSION: The City Council adjourned to Closed Session at 8:53 p.m. to discuss personnel matters and possible litigation. The Council reconvened at 11:06 p.m. All members present. Personnel Police Dpt. Mayor Gonzales stated the Council had considered a request for Leave of Absence from the Police Department and the request was denied. Personnel Recreation Mayor Gonzales stated the Council had discussed the position of Recreation Supervisor/Grantsman. Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, to delete the position of Recreation Supervisor/Grantsman. Unanimous vote. ADJOURNMENT: Moved by Councilwoman Garcia, seconded by Councilman Hayes and unanimously passed, Mayor Gonzales adjourned the meeting at 11:10 p.m. HELEN A. Mayor Gonzales led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. Invocation was offered by The Reverend Joseph S. Juarez of the Mexican Baptist Church. ROLL CALL: Council Members present were Hayes, Rehrer, Garcia, and Mayor Gonzales. Also present were City Manager Trevino, City Attorney Edwards, and City Clerk Ramos. Absent was Councilwoman Cisneros due to illness.
