Mayor Gonzales presented Certificates of Appreciation to Gail Stovall and Jackie <br />Rutledge in recognition of their 10th Anniversary of volunteer service as Direct&79 <br />of the Miss Colton Queen Pageant. <br />The reigning Queen and prospective Candidates for the 1982 Pageant were introduced, <br />and all present were invited for cake and punch in the lobby following the Council <br />Meeting. <br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS: <br />Mr. Jerry Rios, 890 Louise Street, Colton, read a letter dated April 6, 1982, to the <br />City Council, advising that he had not as yet received information requested from the <br />City Manager at a previous meeting, in a letter dated March 16, 1982. <br />City Manager Trevino stated that he had complied with Mr. Rios request and had furnish- <br />ed the information. <br />Streets <br />Mr. Frank Smith, 270 West F Street, Colton, asked the City Council about the paving of <br />"G" Street, from 6th Street to 10th Street. <br />City Manager Trevino asked Mr. Smith to come into his office and this matter could be <br />discussed in greater detail. <br />� CLOSED SESSION: <br />(Y) The City Council adjourned to Closed Session at 9:10 p. m., to discuss Personnel Matters, <br />and reconvened at 9:28 p. m., all Members present. <br />Q ADJOURNMENT: <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia and unanimously passed, <br />Mayor Gonzales adjourned the meeting at 9:30 p. m. <br />HELEN A. RAMOS, CMC <br />City Clerk <br />City of Colton <br />Approved this 20th day of April, 1982. <br />COUNCIL MEETING <br />APRIL 20, 1982 <br />A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was held on the above <br />given date at 7:30 p. m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, Mayor Gonzales <br />presiding. <br />Mayor Gonzales led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />Invocation was offered by Councilman Leroy Rehrer. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Council Members present were Cisneros, Rehrer, Garcia, and Mayor Gonzales. Also <br />present were City Manager Trevino, City Attorney Edwards, and City Clerk Ramos. <br />City Clerk Ramos read a memorandum from Councilman James D. Hayes advising that he <br />would be attending an Educational Fair at Colton High School and, therefore, would <br />be absent from the meeting. <br />Flprtinnc <br />City Attorney Edwards presented Resolution No. 4197 for Council's consideration and <br />approval, stating this resolution contains the results of the recent General Muni- <br />cipal Election held in the City of Colton on Tuesday, April 13, 1982, and the canvass <br />of that election as made by the City Clerk. <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, to approve Resolution <br />No. 4197.
