Mayor Gonzales spoke about the vendors and charges for renting booths at the auctiN and asked what sort of relief would the vendors be getting. Mrs. Larson stated that the increase in daily fees imposed on them has never been passed on to the vendors, the vendors pay a nominal entrance fee and a rental fee for the booth they use, which can range from $5.00 to $20.00, depending on the size of the booth; however, the vendors have never had an increase imposed on them like the auction business has. After additional discussion, moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Hayes, to pass Second Reading and adopt Ordinance No. 1614. Upon Roll Call, the Vote was: AYES: Three; Cisneros, Hayes, Rehrer. NOES: Two; Garcia, Gonzales. ABSENT: None. Motion carried. Elections Res. No. 4180 City Attorney presented Resolution No. 4180 for Council's consideration and approval, relating to establishing voting precincts and polling places for the forthcoming General Municipal Election to be held Tuesday, April 13, 1982.
