ADJOURNED COUNCIL MEETING JUNE 29, 1982 225 In accordance with notice duly and legally given, an Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was held on the above date at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall, Mayor Huntoon presiding. ROLL CALL: Council members present were Rios, Cisneros, Rehrer, Garcia, and Mayor Huntoon. Also present were Acting City Manager Elliott, City Attorney Edwards, City Clerk Ramos, Acting Finance Director Andengaard, and Finance Assistant Young. BUDGET: Acting City Manager Elliott reported this was a continuance from the June 22, 1982 Adjourned Council Meeting, that Resolutions Nos. 4226 and 4227 have been prepared for Council consideration. Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rehrer to approve Resolutions Nos. 4226 and 4227. (V Councilman Rios stated that at the June 22, 1982 Council Meeting he had submitted (y) a proposal for funding personnel at the proposed satellite fire station and that he would like the Council to keep his proposal in mind for consideration at Mid- Year Budget, inasmuch as the fire station is approximately nine months away from being operational. Q Councilwoman Garcia stated that if the Council is serious about finding money that can be done by looking elsewhere other than cutting positions from the budget. Councilwoman Garcia read various areas in the City Council's Budget where reduc- tions could be realized. After discussion between Councilman Rios and Councilwoman Garcia with regard to putting Councilwoman Garcia's recommendations into a motion form requiring a four/fifths Council vote, Councilwoman Cisneros called for the question on the motion. The motion to approve Resolutions No. 4226 and 4227 carried. Councilman Rios voting NO. RESOLUTION NO. 4226 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON ADOPTING A BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1982-83. RESOLUTION NO. 4227 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATIONS LIMIT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1982-83. ADJOURNMENT: On motion of Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rehrer and unanimously passed, Mayor Huntoon adjourned the meeting at 7:39 p.m. HELEN A.
