ADJOURNED CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />NOVEMBER 27, 1990 <br />In accordance with notice duly and legally given, an Adjourned Regular <br />Meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was held on the above <br />given date at 7:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, Mayor <br />Gonzales presiding. <br />RnT.T. CAT.T, <br />Council Members present were Rios, Cisneros, Rehrer, and Mayor Gonzales. <br />Also present were City Manager Sotelo, City Attorney Edwards, and City <br />Clerk Ramos. Absent was Councilman Lofy. <br />Canvass of Election <br />City Attorney Edwards read in full Resolution No. R-134-90, declaring <br />the results of the General Municipal Election held in the City, Novem- <br />ber 6, 1990. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to adopt <br />Resolution No. R-134-90. Unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO. R-134-90 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, RECITING THE FACT OF <br />THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD IN SAID <br />CITY ON NOVEMBER 6, 1990, DECLARING THE RE- <br />SULT THEREOF AND SUCH OTHER MATTERS AS PRO- <br />VIDED BY THE PROVISIONS OF LAW. <br />Presentation to Mayor Pro -Tem Rios <br />Mayor Gonzales presented to Mayor Pro -Tem Rios a plaque honoring him <br />for his eight years of service to the City of Colton as a Councilmember. <br />Councilman Rios thanked his wife, his family and relatives, and all those <br />that had voted for him and supported him over the past eight years. <br />Mr. Rios stated he has always strived to "play it straight" and to do <br />the best job he could for the City. Mr. Rios spoke about his accom- <br />plishments over the past eight years and the various organizations he <br />has been affiliated with. Mr. Rios closed by saying it has been his <br />pleasure to serve on the City Council and, at some future date, he may <br />decide to run again. <br />Oath of Office <br />The newly elected and re-elected City Officials stepped forward to re- <br />ceive the Oath of Office from City Clerk Ramos. Mrs. Ramos presented <br />each one with a Certificate of Election. <br />NX 2 -7 1990 <br />V1 <br />
