In accordance with <br />Meeting of the City <br />given date at 4:58 <br />Gonzales presiding. <br />ROLL CALL; <br />ADJOURNED CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />JUNE 17, 1933 <br />notice duly and legally given, an <br />Council of the City of Colton was <br />P. M . , in the Council Chambers of <br />.Adjourned Regular <br />held on the above <br />City Hall, Mayor <br />Councllmembers present. were Bennett, Sandoval, Cisneros, Beltran and. <br />Mayor Gonzales. Also present were City Attorney Brown, Cita Manager <br />Young and City Clerk Ramos. Absent was Councilmember Cook. <br />CLOSED SESSION: <br />Mayor Gonzales announced a Closed Session on personnel matters pursuant <br />to Government Code Section 54957. <br />Member Beltran asked if Council would address the remainder of the <br />Agenda before doing into Closed. Session. City Attorney Brown inquired <br />of the City Clerk if the Presiding Off icer can take the items out of <br />order. City Clerk Ramos responded that there is no objection if <br />approved by Council. She informed that Items 1 and. 2 are related and <br />were placed on the agenda in that order as directed by Council. <br />Attorney Brown announced that based on previous Council discussion, the <br />are related. <br />Further discussion followed with regard to separation of Items 1 and 2. <br />it was suggested that if Items 2 was tabled to budget sessions, it would <br />eliminate the urgency of the natter and the need to have the Closed <br />session. <br />Moved by Councilmember Beltran, seconded by Councilmember Cisneros, to <br />table Item 2 to Budget Sessions. Discussion followed. <br />Councilmember Bennett stated there was no need to table this item. The <br />$1.00 tipping free that was added to the refuse bill was for the specific <br />purpose of purchasing trucks for recycling. She believed. that Council. <br />was letting down the residents of this community. 'khat are we <br />collecting that dollar for, she asked. <br />Acting Public Works Director Hutton, said under the Joint MOU, between <br />the Board. of Supervisors and. the City of Colton, for the host city <br />tipping fee, there is $1.00 per ton that is collected by the County at <br />the landfill. The number one item is for recycling activities. <br />Councilmember Cisneros inquired as to the term "recycling activities." <br />q 63.; <br />
