In accordance with Meeting of the City given date at 4:58 Gonzales presiding. ROLL CALL; ADJOURNED CITY COUNCIL MEETING JUNE 17, 1933 notice duly and legally given, an Council of the City of Colton was P. M . , in the Council Chambers of .Adjourned Regular held on the above City Hall, Mayor Councllmembers present. were Bennett, Sandoval, Cisneros, Beltran and. Mayor Gonzales. Also present were City Attorney Brown, Cita Manager Young and City Clerk Ramos. Absent was Councilmember Cook. CLOSED SESSION: Mayor Gonzales announced a Closed Session on personnel matters pursuant to Government Code Section 54957. Member Beltran asked if Council would address the remainder of the Agenda before doing into Closed. Session. City Attorney Brown inquired of the City Clerk if the Presiding Off icer can take the items out of order. City Clerk Ramos responded that there is no objection if approved by Council. She informed that Items 1 and. 2 are related and were placed on the agenda in that order as directed by Council. Attorney Brown announced that based on previous Council discussion, the are related. Further discussion followed with regard to separation of Items 1 and 2. it was suggested that if Items 2 was tabled to budget sessions, it would eliminate the urgency of the natter and the need to have the Closed session. Moved by Councilmember Beltran, seconded by Councilmember Cisneros, to table Item 2 to Budget Sessions. Discussion followed. Councilmember Bennett stated there was no need to table this item. The $1.00 tipping free that was added to the refuse bill was for the specific purpose of purchasing trucks for recycling. She believed. that Council. was letting down the residents of this community. 'khat are we collecting that dollar for, she asked. Acting Public Works Director Hutton, said under the Joint MOU, between the Board. of Supervisors and. the City of Colton, for the host city tipping fee, there is $1.00 per ton that is collected by the County at the landfill. The number one item is for recycling activities. Councilmember Cisneros inquired as to the term "recycling activities." q 63.;
