CITY OF COLTON CITY COUNCIUREDEVELOPMENT AGENCY/COLTON UTILITY AUTHORITY SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES JUNE 12, 2006 A Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was held at 5:00 p.m., on the above - given date at in the Gonzales Community Center, located at 670 Colton Ave., Colton, California, Mayor Pro Tempore Mitchell presiding. Notice of Special Meeting was given on June 20, 2006, in compliance with Government Code Section 54956. ROLL CALL Councilmembers present were, Suchil, Ramos, Chastain, De La Rosa (appeared at 5:29 p.m.), Hernandez and Mayor Pro Tempore Mitchell. Also present were City Manager Parrish and City Clerk Barrera. Absent Mayor Bennett. CLOSED SESSION: City Attorney Derleth announced that the City Council would meet in Closed Session to discuss the Item A below: A. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL — ANTICIPATED LITIGATION Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(b) Number of Potential Cases: Unknown (RMED) Mayor Pro Tempore Mitchell adjourned the meeting to Closed Session at 5:08 p.m. and at 5:17 p.m.; the meeting reconvened with all members present as heretofore. City Attorney Derleth reported that the Council did meet and did confer in Closed Session on the item previously announced. A. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL — ANTICIPATED LITIGATION Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(b) Number of Potential Cases: Unknown (RMED) ACTION: No Reportable MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS: POSSIBLE CONFLICT OF INTEREST DISCLOSURES FOR THE COUNCIL MEETING OF JUNE 12, 2006. Mayor Pro Tempore Mitchell asked the members present if there were any agenda items that were a conflict of interest pursuant to CMC Section 2.04.030. None disclosed.
