A�tN ION N <br />SIX" TO T= CY OP COLTON, <br />W IR AS, on the 1st day of February, 1955, a petition was filed with the <br />City Council of the City of Colton requesting that certain uninhabited territory <br />contiguous to said City be annexed to the City of Colton, and which said petition <br />described said territory and the boundaries thereof proposed to be annexed to <br />said City and <br />WHEREAS, said petition was filed by owners of not less than one-fourth of <br />the area of land in such territory and representing not less than one-fourth of <br />the assessed value of such territory according to the last preceding equalized <br />assessment roll of the County of San Bernardino, in which said County the City <br />of Colton is situated, and <br />WHEREAS, the said petition requested the said territory to be annexed to <br />and included in said Municipal Corporation in accordance with the provisions of <br />th6 Txf&4abited Territory Act of 1939, as amended, Article 5, Chapter 1, Part 2, <br />Division 2, Title 4, Government Code of the State of California, and <br />WHEREAS, all and each of the owners of all the aforementioned real property <br />I <br />and each and every parcel contained therein have consented in writing and filed <br />with the City Clerk of the City of Colton, who acts as Clerk for said City <br />Council, their consent and agreement that all of the property included in the <br />aforesaid territory if legally possible shall be taxed equally with the other <br />property within said City to pay the bonded indebtedness and any and all general <br />indebtedness and liability of tie City of Coltonceantracted prior to or following i <br />or outstanding at the time the aforesaid petition of the annexation was filed <br />and subsequent thereto, as provided by said act, and, <br />WHERE, the San Bernardino County Boundary Commission has made a complete <br />investigation and reports that the boundaries submitted concerning the proposed <br />annexation to the City of Colton, as shown in the said petition, are both c <br />and definite, and <br />32 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Calton has made a complete <br />
