M <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />29 <br />30 <br />31 <br />32 <br />ORDINANCE NO, 1046 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF COLTON <br />UNINHABITED TERR.IT OR Y GENERALLY <br />KNOWN AS NORTH COLTON NO, 5 TO THE <br />CITY OF COLTON* <br />WHEREAS., the City Council of the City of Colton heretofore filed with <br />the City Council of the City of San Bernardino a written petition requesting the <br />consent of the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino to the <br />annexation to the City of Colton of a certain strip of land in a general area lying <br />between the North line of Mill Street and the South .line of American Precinct <br />No. 2 and Colton Precinct No. 31 and hereinafter more particularly described, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 5382, the Mayor and Common Council <br />of the City of San Bernardino gave its cons ent to the City Co uncil of the Ci ty <br />of Colton to annex the following described territory, whit h i s within the City <br />limits of the City of San Bernardino, to wit: <br />A portion of Lot 2, Block 66, of the Rancho San Bernardino as <br />shown on a map recorded in Book 7 of Maps, page 2,, R.ec o-rds <br />of San Bernardino County, described as follows: <br />Beginning at a point in the south line of said Lot 2, said point <br />being the intersection of the westerly line of the Atchison, <br />Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company's right of way, 10 0 feet <br />wide, running in a northeasterly direction, with the north line <br />of Mill Street, 82. 5 feet wide; the nce northeaste rly al ong the <br />westerly .line of said Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe right of way <br />to an intersection with a line parallel to and ,150 feet north of <br />the north line of said Mill Street; thence westerly parallel to <br />the north line of said Mill Street along a present corporate <br />boundary of the City of Colton to a point in a line that is <br />parallel with and distant 300 feet northeasterly a t r ight a ogle s <br />from the northeasterly line and its southeasterly prolongation <br />of that parcel of land conveyed to the Atchison, Topeka and Santa <br />Fe Railway Company by deed recorded June 16, .1906, iron Book <br />371 of Deeds, page 341; thence southeasterly along said parallel <br />line to the center line of said Mill Street; thence east along the <br />center line of said Mill Street, being also along a corporate <br />boundary of the City of Colton to an intersection with the south- <br />westerly <br />outh-»westerly prolongation of the westerly line bf said Atchison, <br />Topeka and Santa Fe right of way, 100 feet wide; thence north- <br />easterly along the said southwesterly prolongation of the westerly <br />line of said Atchison, Topeka. and Santa Fe right of way, 100 <br />feet wide„ to the point of beginning. <br />.i.
