ORDINANCE NO,. 1114 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY I DESIGNATED "SOUTH COLTON NO. 9" TO THE �j CITY OF COLTON. ! �i BE IT ORDAINED BY THE 5 COUNCIL. OF THE CITY O F COLTON: r 11 WHEREAS on the 5th day of September, 1961, the Council of the City I' 11 I of Colton did pass and adopt Resolution No,. 2205 giving notice of the proposal 811 to annex certain uninhabited territory to the City of Colton, said territory i being therein designated as "South Colton No. 911, said Resolution describing E 91 i? the boundaries of the territory proposed to be annexed; a 10 �! and WHEREAS., said Resolution No. 2205 did contain a notice of the day, ± hour and place when and where the Council of the Cit would 1 y u d hear protests made 13 i+ by any person owning real property within the territory proposed to be annexed, 1', the time of said hearing being not less than forty nor more than sixty days from 1 the date of passage of said Resolution; and 16 WHEREAS, on the 17th day of October, 1961, at the hour of 7030 P. M. in the Council Charrlbers i i 17 , n the City Hall of the City of Colton, County of San E 18 Bernardino, State of California, said time and place being the day, hour and 19 place fixed in said Resolution No. 2205 for hearing protests to the said annexa - 2 0 nnexa-20 i tion, the said City Council did hear and pass upon all protests made to the pro- j 1 21posed annexation and did determine that protests had not been made by the 22 i owners of one-half of the value of the privately owned territory proposed to be 23 annexed as shown by the last equalized assessment roll, nor by public owners o 24 one-half of the value of the publicly owned territory proposed to be annexed as 25 i4 determined by said legislative body; and I' I 26WHEREAS... territory is contiguous to the City of Colton, and is { �j 27 uninhabited territory in the County of San Bernardino; 28 �i NOW, THEREFORE;, the said Council of the City of Colton does here- j 29 by approve the annexation of the territory hereinafter described to the City of i
