Definitions. The following words as used in this ordinanc <br />shall have the signification attached to them in this ordinance unless otherwise <br />clearly apparent from the context. <br />A. MASSAGE: The word "Massage" means and includes a method of <br />treating the external parts of the body for remedial or hygienic purposes, <br />consisting of rubbing, stroking, kneading, adjusting or tapping with the hand or <br />any instrumento <br />B. MASSAGE PARLOR: The term "Massage Parlor" means and �n- <br />cludes any turkish bath parlor, steam bath, magnetic healing institute, <br />massage parlor, or any room, place or institution where treatment for the <br />human body is given by means of massage as herein defined. <br />C. MASSAGIST: The word "Massagist" means and includes any per- <br />son who practices massage as herein defined. <br />D. PERSON: The word "Person" means and includes persons, firms, <br />corporations, associations or any other form of business organization or <br />group. <br />E. RECOGNIZED SCHOOL: The term "Recognized School means <br />and includes any school or institution of learning which has for its purpose <br />the teaching of the theory, method, profession of work of massagist and which <br />school requires a resident course of study of not less than two hundred (200) <br />hours to be given in not less than three calendar months before the student <br />shall be furnished with a diploma or certificate of graduation from such school <br />or institution of learning showing the successful completion of such course of <br />study or learning. <br />F. Wherever the wird "licensd"I or14applicat ion" shall appear in this <br />section the same shall have no application and no effect upon, and shall not be <br />
