CITY OF.COLTON, ADOPTING <br />THE NATIONAL ELECTRICAL, CODE, 1978 EDITION AND THE <br />UNIFORM VTRI:NG CODE, 1975 EDITION, FOR THE PURPOSE <br />OF REDUCING PERSONAL INJURY AND FIRE HAZARDFROM <br />ELECTRICAL CAUSES,' PROVIDING FOR RELATED MATTERS, <br />AND REPEALING' ORDINANCE NO. 1479. <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. This Ordinance shall be known as the "Uniform Wiring <br />SECTION 2. Those certain rules and regulations which provide for <br />electrical installations and which apply to all wiring and equipment installed, <br />used, maintained, rented, leased, offered for sale or distributed for use, as <br />set forth in those certain codes entitled UNIFORM WIRING CODE (1975 Edition) as <br />promulgated by the Southern California Chapter of the International Association <br />of Electrical Inspectors and NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE (1978 Edition) as promul- <br />gated by the National Fire Protection Association are hereby adopted as rules an <br />regulations and codes of the City of Colton. Three copies of each of the afore- <br />mentioned codes are on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City and are <br />identified by Certificates attached thereto, reading substantially as follows: <br />"I', Helen A. Ramos, hereby 'certify that three (3) copies of the <br />annexed.codes entitled UNIFORM WIRING CODE (1975 Edition)4and NATIONAL" ELECTRICAL <br />CODE (1978 Edition) are true, cor5rect and complete copies of that certain code <br />F <br />referred to in Ordinance No.x1577 as amendedYl of the City of Colton, and by said <br />Ordinance adopted by reference and made a part thereof as fully as though set <br />forth at length. <br />HELEN A.
