That the Uniform Building Code, Uniform Mechanical <br />7111 Code, Uniform Housing Coda, Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous <br />l <br />8Buildings, Uniform Sign C de, 1979 Editions, and Appendices thereto, published <br />I' <br />9and copyrighted by the International Conference of Building Officials", three <br />101, copies of which in book rm are now on file in the Office of the City Clerk <br />10 of the City of Colton for public use and certified by the certificate of the <br />11 <br />12 II City Clerk of the City of Colton attached thereto, reading as follows: <br />I, <br />131111 "I, Helen A. Ramos, City Clerk of the City of Colton do hereby <br />14certify that the Annexed Uniform Building Code, 'Uniform Mechanical Code, <br />15 Uniform Housing Code, Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildinqs <br />16 1 and Uniform Sign Code, 1979 Editions, and Appendices thereto, published and <br />17 copyrighted by the International Conference of Building Officials are the <br />18 Uniform Codes referred t in Ordinance No. 1579 of the City of Colton", <br />19 i, be, and the s?me is hereby adopted as the Building Code of the City of Colton, <br />20 for regulating the erection, construction, alteration, repair, moving, removal, <br />21 demolition, conversion, cocupancy, e uitpmant, use, height, area and/or mainte- <br />22 nance and other matters contained in said codes of all buildings and structures <br />23 <br />?f any tape whatsoever and each of the provisions in reference to issuance of <br />24 <br />• permits, collection of fes, and each and every provision, regulation, conditio <br />t <br />25 <br />and term of said buildin cede hereinbefore referrers to and adopted and made a <br />26 <br />part hereof as if fully fet forth herein. <br />27 L SECTION 2 Provi&d, honever, that no permit for the erection <br />2811 of billboards shall be issued without prior Council approval. <br />I <br />
