R.AMOS <br />City Clerk <br />City of Colton <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1583 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COLTON AMENDING <br />ORDINANCE NO. 9641 AS AMENDED, AND PROVIDING <br />FOR CERTAIN ZONE RECLASSIFICATION. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />SECTION ONE: The City Council finds and declares: <br />1. That a public hearing has been duly and legally held <br />by the Planning Commission of the City of Colton on one Zone District <br />Amendment application to amend Sections 303 and 304 of Ordinance No. <br />964, as amended. <br />2. That said Planning Commission has recommended the adoption <br />of the proposed amendment and the zone reclassification of certain par- <br />cels of land in accordance with and pursuant to said application. <br />3. That said parcel is delineated and the recommend action <br />appropriately shown and for convenience is referenced indexed on the <br />maps on file in the City Clerk's off ice numbered as follows: <br />Zoning Map Nos. 30 and 31 <br />Prezoning from County Zones to City Zones, <br />R -E, R-1, and C-2, on property in the <br />County pocket located south of Washington <br />Street. <br />4. That a public hearing has been duly and legally held <br />by the City Council on the aforesaid recommendation of the Planning <br />Commission. <br />SECTION TWO: The zone reclassification herein above <br />referred to is hereby approved and the Planning Director is hereby <br />directed to amend the Official Zoning Maps of the City of Colton <br />adopted by Ordinance No. 1420 in accordance herewith to show said <br />approval and certify to the same. <br />SECTION THREE: Effective Date. This Ordinance shall be in <br />force and effective thrity (30) days after final passage. <br />
