VERNON AVENUE <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Colton as follows: <br />WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 3810, a public hearing was called for <br />�jJune 7, 1978, at the hour of 7:30 p.m., in the Council Chambers in the City Hall, <br />jColton, California, to ascertain whether the public necessity, health, safety <br />for welfare requires the removal of poles, overhead wires and associated overhead <br />11 <br />Ptructures and the underground installation of wires and facilities for supply - <br />ling electric, communication or similar or associates service in the area <br />(described as follows': <br />A strip of land 200 feet wide lying 100 feet on <br />each side of the following described centerline <br />i beginning at a point of intersection with Mt. <br />Vernon Avenue and the easterly prolongation of <br />! the north right-of-way line of Washington Street <br />as shown on that certain Record of Survey, recorded <br />July 23, 1974, in Book 29 at Pages 41 through 46 <br />of Record of Surveys; thence northerly along said <br />centerline of'Mt. Vernon Avenue to <br />its intersection <br />with the easterly prolongation of the south right- <br />of-way line of Cooley Lane as shown on said Record <br />of Survey, recorded July 23, 1974. <br />WHEREAS, notice of such hearing has been given to all affected <br />property owners as shown on the last equalized assessment roll and utilities <br />concerned in the manner and for the time required by law; and <br />WHEREAS, such hearing has been duly and regularly held, and all <br />persons interested have been given an opportunity to be heard. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Council of the City of <br />Colton hereby finds and determines that the public necessity, health, safety <br />and welfare require the removal of poles, overhead wires and associated <br />structures, and the underground installation of wires and facilities for <br />supplying electric, communication, or similar or associated service in the area <br />described as follows: <br />
