R-91-05 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON APPROVING A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT TO <br />CHANGE THE LAND USE DESIGNATION OF PROPERTY <br />LOCATED AT 1220 AND 1228 CENTER DRIVE IN THE CITY OF <br />COLTON FROM LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO <br />OFFICE/BUSINESS PARK: DAP NO. 000-396 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton Community Development Department filed an <br />application (File No. DAP -000-396) requesting approval of a general plan amendment to change <br />the land use designation from "Low Density Residential" to "Office/Business Park" ("Application") <br />for property located at 1220 and 1228 Center Drive (Assessor Parcel Nos. 0276-162-08 and 09- <br />000) ("Subject Site") in the City of Colton, County of San Bernardino; and <br />WHEREAS, the Application was referred to all affected public agencies pursuant <br />to section 65352 of the Government Code; <br />WHEREAS, the Application was reviewed, studied, and found to comply with the <br />California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA") as more fully described below; <br />WHEREAS, on July 12, 2005, the Planning Commission of the City of Colton (the <br />"Planning Commission") conducted a duly noticed public hearing on the Application at which <br />time all persons wishing to testify in connection with the Application were heard and the <br />Application was fully studied; <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission adopted a Resolution recommending <br />approval of this amendment to the General Plan of the City of Colton; <br />WHEREAS, on August 2, 2005, the City Council of the City of Colton ("City <br />Council") conducted a duly noticed public hearing on the Application at which time all persons <br />wishing to testify in connection with the Application were heard and the Application was fully <br />studied; and <br />occurred; <br />WHEREAS, all other legal prerequisites to the adoption of this Resolution have <br />
