Hutton, Director of Public Works <br />SUBJECT: Purchase of Property for Tertiary Treatment Date: February 13, 1991 <br />Facility (RIX) <br />BA CKGF40L ID: <br />The Cities of Colton and San Bernardino are jointly participating in the <br />construction of a third stage treatment facility as mandated by the State. <br />STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM: <br />Property along Agua Mansa has been purchased for this purpose and the additional <br />three acres being recommended for acquisition is needed for the project. <br />ALTERNATIVES: <br />None, both the Cities have agreed to construct the mandated facility. <br />ENVI RION VlE.KTAL IMPAICT: <br />None <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />Colton's share for the property acquisition is $16,703 (25%). <br />Staff recommends that Council approve the acquisition of the additional three acres <br />for the RIX project in the amount of .$16,703. <br />Attachments: <br />Page l of <br />CENTRAL RECORDS <br />ELLE No. :. x.00 -ft...... ,. <br />Item No 13 <br />
