Aguilera, Director of Community Development #V' <br />SUBJECT: Amendment to Chapter 6.32 of City of Colton Municipal E <br />Code (Fireworks). <br />BACKGROUND: N <br />The City Council requested that staff rewrite the Fireworks Ordinance in order to more fully <br />explain procedures, expand the program, and better assist local non-profit organizations. D <br />ANALYSIS: <br />Following are the proposed changes to the Ordinance: A <br />1) Table of Contents (numeration and language). M <br />2) 6.32.010 Change Section 12504 to read section 12529 of Health and Safety Code. <br />3) 6.32.015 <br />Definitions <br />R <br />4) 6.32.030 <br />Item B <br />Change last day to accept application from March 31 to April 7. <br />Item C <br />Location of Firework stands shall be limited to commercial and <br />industrial zones. <br />E <br />5) 6.32.040 <br />Item C <br />(a) Defines "Organization'' <br />(b) Division of funds from joint venture. <br />(c) Restructure number of booth from 10 to 11. <br />P <br />Item D <br />Discuss the event of a drawing <br />6) Waived Business License Tax (fee) requirement. <br />O <br />7) Sections 6.32.070 through 6.32.140 renumbered. <br />8) 6.32.090 Item C Reduction of floor space from 400 to 300 square feet. R <br />8) 6.32.100 Item F The date stands must be removed by shall change from the 18th <br />of July to the 14th of July. <br />Item G Clean up deposit increase from $50.00 to $100.00.
