ACEVEDO <br />Finance Director (A) <br />SUBJECT: Award of Bid for a Composter/Aerator Unit for the Public Utilities Department to Nixon -Egli <br />Equipment Co. in the Amount of $21,321.93. <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The Public Utilities Department has a budgeted requirement for a Composter/Aerator for use at the Wastewater <br />Treatment Facility. We advertised this requirement by posting on October 8, 1992. Fourteen bid packages <br />were sent to vendors on our bidder's list. <br />DISCUSSION: <br />Bid opening was held at 2:30 P.M., October 26, 1992 in the General Services Office.
